Title: Possible Radiotelephone Link 6791 kHz USB 2208 UTC 28 Feb 2018
Post by: R4002 on February 28, 2018, 2211 UTC
Presumed radiotelephone link phone patch Rural Radiotelephone Service (RRTS) Latin American based

Frequency: 6791 kHz 6.791 MHz
Mode: USB
Language: Spanish (Latin American)
User: Presumed radiotelephone link system for rural areas in Central America and South America

Hearing a YL and an OM talking at 2208 UTC tune in.  Sounds very much like a phone conversation and these have been logged in this frequency range several times before.  Above 6850 kHz or so it seems like its mostly pirate or bootleg radio chatter, but the 6765 kHz to 6850 kHz range (roughly) is home to phone links and freebanders mixed in with each other.  Weak signals and poor copy at 2211 UTC.
