Post by: zeppelin radio on April 22, 2018, 1752 UTC: Here are some pics of the ZEPPELIN RADIO ATHENS. The tubes of the transmitter is EL34 CRYSTAL OSCIL., 2x6146b ,and an OB2 to stabilize the -105v bias tension of the final tubes.
At the left from the transmitter we can see the 2x807 modulator,class AB.
On the floor we have from the left to the right, the 6146b screens reactor choke, the anode reactor choke 11HENRY,the modulation transformer,and the oil capacitor for the heising modulation type.
Except from the 11HENRY reactor all the transformers and the transmitter are homemade.
The metal frame of the transmitter,it was some years ago,a FM transmitter .
