Good find, but only if the price is right and a bargain to grin about?

I am looking for a JRC Communications receiver NRD-535 or NRD-545 but they are rarely seen in Australian Hamfests or for sale on line, very hard to find this way...do you get them in the USA?

I am staring at a NRD 545 right now  ;D

I haven't noticed them at hamfests, they are regulars on eBay however.

The Icom 756pro series uses the same dsp chips as the 545 and has none of the bleeps and bloops of the 545 dsp firmware. That being said, the 545 is infinitely more bandwidth adjustable and has a working synchro, compared to the pro series. Also, the pro series features that nifty fish finder, but be warned, once you start using a fish finder to swl with you'll never want to go back.
