Tuned in via Elida OH kiwi SDR, heard OM say testing 1 2 3. I presume this is the same thing Chris copied.
2150 hearing music now, signal is about S7 in Elida. Lots of static crashes.
2152 OM interrupts song with current date and time.
2157 OM speaking after some silence, low in the audio mix, or perhaps that's just how it's being received.
2158 "Am I live and noone's telling me? That would be embarrassing."
2159 "Papa Romeo Romeo Lima. This is the Pirate Radio Relay League."
2200 start of broadcast
2202 "Roam" B-52's (a few bumps and skips noted on the playback)
2206 XFM ID by Redhat. Timestamp. (Your clock's correct). into "Oh my gosh, caught with my pants down. Always assume a mic is hot. Thanks to the PRRL." Giving some background on the PRRL. XFM ID repeated at 2208. xfmshortwave@gmail.com.
2209 audio suddenly cut out, carrier still present
2211 audio back, glitches, says it's the internet.
2212 "The internet is far less reliable than a piece of wire going where you need it to go."
2213 read my email request. HFU shoutouts, another glitch in the middle of that.
2214 Announcing "Summer of Love" B-52's but the audio glitched out again
2215 back on, "music to the power of x" and into "Summer of Love" B-52's, still trouble with audio dropouts
2223 back on after a lengthy dropout
2226 "Frail" Jars of Clay
2227 dropout... then back up. Redhat thinks he has the issue solved.
2229 Black Keys "Tighten Up" Signal is really good at Elida, S9, some fades though
gotta make dinner now, so won't be keeping a log of the broadcast
............................................
2357 been listening casually since making dinner. Still a good signal at Elida, ranging from faded to strong. Heard Soundgarden, Tool, Linkin Park and several others.
Thanks for the show Redhat!
0012 "Radio Free Europe" REM (this version is from the original single that was their very first release)
.........
0048 PRRL ID then off
