1610 Chain of Fools - Aretha Franklin
Turned on 40M looking for Special Event Stations CQing and ran into this. 7200 is a ham freq that goes off the rails often. On 20M 14.313 is another freq that exhibits the same type of transmissions.

Sorry, should have been posted under the Peskies board.

No, this is where this belongs I think -Chris is the ultimate arbiter. Peskies are outbanders, while these are licensed hams transmitting in the ham band. They may be violating the regulations and they're certainly peskie pests, but Peskies (with a capital P) are a different breed.

Agreed, peskies (Peskies) are out of band, although some are in a gray area (for example people operating in the marine bands but offset frequencies, etc.) - but these are hams operating inside the ham bands.
If they were operating out of band like CB "freebanders" then they would belong the Peskies forum. There's certainly a little bit of a gray area though. The fishing fleets out of New England that switch between 6095 kHz (which is within the 49 meter broadcasting band), 6212 kHz, 6215 kHz (which are legal 6 MHz HF-SSB marine frequencies) and various frequencies in the 6900-7000 kHz band could be considered peskies (when operating out of band) or Other or even Utility stations (when operating within their assigned bands).

Certainly grey areas. I like to consider these guys as "Hams Behaving Badly" ;D
