Title: UNID europirate 6933
Post by: Newfoundland DXer on May 17, 2011, 2344 UTC
since 2327, oldies that I didn't reconize,  ID at 2335, again at 2341 (originally thought was magnatar, but reviewed audio file, ID has British accent, but does not match any pirate I have heard of)

34332, some bad timing with static crashes and IDs, faded somewhat, coming back at 0015

QSL would be appreciated, audio file available upon request

Cheers, Terry

Been listening for quite a while, the static is making it very hard to make out anything.

Doing lots and lots of Dionne Warwick tunes though.

0040z Radio Malta? Is that a known station Terry?
0043z Off in the midst of a tune...

Malta is not a known station name to me DB

I think this is a new station though

If I get any additonal info, I will post it.

Terry

P.S.     Just a heads-up to everyone.   There may be a pirate on the air from the Caribbean this week.   Scan both the US band and the euro 48 m (6200-6400).
