Title: A 8000 CW 2135 UTC 4 Dec 2018
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on December 04, 2018, 2138 UTC
An old friend is back. I don't think I've logged this one for a long time, maybe a few years? Logs likely here on this board.

Irregularly sends a CW "A". Sometimes a few seconds between transmissions, sometimes a few minutes.  Sometimes the A is malformed. A pretty good signal right now. Another of HF's mysteries.

Fascinating, Chris!

Hearing a ditter tonight at 2340 utc on ~8000.  About 3 bits per second +/-.

There's another thread about the low power frequency hopping ditter on integer MHz and 500 kHz increments, that began transmitting about a week ago.
