I understand this station enjoys some popularity on line because of it's throwback format. Sometimes they run ads from the 1960s aired on the original incarnation. You can get a new car for 2-3k but that makes it just as unaffordable then as today.
Absolutely pounds my qth at 20k day.

I didn't realize their antenna was directional, seems like a lot of their signal on 1310 kHz is sent to the Atlantic (and points east!)

Yep, most of the power is directed out to sea .  But there are a lot of people along the way
