By Ray -      "" Hello Kris, what is BCS ?""
Hi  - I was talking about the timbre of the announcer's voice and his calm professional way of conducting the show, including talking to the guest, which led me to suspect that this is BCS.
I heard them for the first time.

The tunes you heard were played by musicians live in studio so shazam probably wouldn't be much use  :)

Hi Brian! I was thinking that Shazam was giving me trouble, as the audio was strong enough at peaks for the app to ID the tunes! Have always loved Irish music and back when I was a youngster in the early 1960's, my dad used to call these jigs and reels! Thanks for the posting!  :) Here is a link to my recording of reception....not exactly a flamethrower, but still good enough from across the pond with this lousy propagation over the last few months!

I scrolled down and found it on the 13th! I listened to the live show and will listen again tomorrow on my day off! It sounds so much better on the video than my recording that I posted!  ;D So much for the high fidelity of shortwave radio! Haha! Thanks Brian!
