Title: Do-Dah Net and Do-Little Net 8152 USB Marine Chatter 2057 UTC 19 July 2019
Post by: R4002 on July 19, 2019, 2059 UTC
Also known as the "yachtman's net" (among other frequencies, including 4003 kHz USB, there are several of these nets).  OMs talking about sailing conditions, where they're currently located, weather, etc.  Some variation in signals, but that's to be expected.  Stations IDing by name of their vessel.

8152 kHz USB 8.152 MHz USB 8 MHz marine band frequency.  Received via Westminster, MD KiwiSDR.

I happened upon: 6.224MHz  USB  Yokwe Net (Mieco Yacht Club, Majuro, Marshall Islands) 1947z (1945z kick off) and it was quite well run and very orderly, not many of the yachts heard but base in Majuro was 5X5.

Tried to log the Rag Of The Air Net in Fiji on 8.173MHz USB at 1900z but nil heard, haven't heard it for awhile now, maybe it has folded.

Tried to listen for Caribbean and Mexican yacht nets but nothing so far.
