Interesting the differences in tracks and altitudes between two launched from the same site.

Two Vaisala RS41 radiosondes received today at 00:58 UTC. The one on the left (403.000 MHz) is identified as the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (http://www.emy.gr/emy/en/aviation/aeronaftilia_xartes_anemou_anoteris) radiosonde launched from Thessaloniki. The one on the right (403.010 MHz) was not decoded, but it is most likely the elusive HNMS radiosonde launched from Iraklion (Heraklion), Crete.

Radiosonde expert Mercouris SV2HWM suggests that this second signal probably belongs to a Turkish radiosonde launched from Izmir.
