We didn't have Keto back then, just Atkins. The plan back then was to stay below 50g a day carbs. I lot 60 pounds in a year, from 248 to 188 pounds. This morning I was 158 pounds.

I can remember our wrestling coaches putting us on Atkins in Junior High to keep weight if guy a class above or below us was a better wrestler. Once we got to HS it was these pills referred to only as "Russian Vitamins". ;) I don't know why? We all took them.
That local steroid guru could walk into the local meathead gym, throw up 20 reps of 250 lb, and walk out. He was in his 70's when he'd pull that stuff. I once watched him knock one of his ex-players cold when the guy was about 21-22 and there was nowhere else to whip it out and do your business due to a packed parking lot. Launched the guy up on the trunk of a '73 Nova with a lift kit for pissing in front of two of his grandkids We thought he'd killed him.
