Title: Possible Drift Net Beacon 1620 UTC 07 SEPTEMBER 2019
Post by: JCMaxwell on September 07, 2019, 1650 UTC
2010.013 kHz

Very faint CW, cannot decode, then followed by just carrier, then CW repeats.

First noticed around 1620z.  Still JBA as of 1650z.  This is between noon and 1 pm local time.

Listened for it a few times, nothing but thunder crashes. Just finished a remodeling project (upside was a new shack & new antennas, downside is now I'm broke). Next up are the 160m antennas. Planning a loop-on-ground & earth-mode dipole for receiving. Drift net season is just around the corner.

I sure hope I can catch one or two DNBs this time around!
