Noice. I don't think in all my faxing so far that I've ever caught Kodiak. When I was in Nebraska, COMMSTA Kodiak was a nightly visitor on 5 and 8 megs USB voice as well as rotary and fixed wing assets working Kodiak, now I seldom hear them and not just because USCG uses ALE to a much greater extent. I suppose moving several hundred miles eastward is the reason.

An antenna optimised for that direction would also be in fine stead for catching stuff out of Asia and eastern Rossia.
