Tuned in at 2236utc, weak signal with low noise, hear DJ Dick Weed talking and now playing heavy metal tune, at 2325 he mentioned my name while reading posts on HFU, signal slowly improved to fair during broadcast, apparently off about 2355utc.

Nice signal at 2250 UTC in lower Michigan...
Steady S-5 with peaking around S-7.
But-- I don't know if that's a het whistling on you, or what.... fading up on it now at 2252 while you fade down a little... but I hear ya chatting about the music, Dickweed!
Good move with the lower frequencies, but not sure about that particular one...
I quit smoking May 1st, and this time it is sticking.
Still listening to the tunes at 2337 UTC, heard a shout-out by Dickweed a while back..
Yeah, the het may very well be local but it's messy here. Still, the only pirate I've heard on my own receiver in eons...

I've got the same 2k Hz whistle as John Poet (but I'm only a few miles from him) -- easily notched
Tuned in at 2300 in Williamston MI 3+4+44+3+ (ALMOST O=4) Sounds nice with the bandwidth opened
up to 4 kHz ....

Started recording about 2310 with S7 signal, then left to do the dishes.
Came back at 2328 to music, Dickweed talking about music he played, going vegan, etc. ID, then signal dropped out. I don't think the program ended, just the propagation.
