Is the Edmund  Fitzgerald station still broadcasting
 on the anniversary as they did back in the day?

Hello - I know they did in 2016 2014, 2015 & 17 but I don't think they did last year.

Checked my old logs.  They were on:
11/9/14 6925khz 2245z and 11/10/14 6925khz 2245z
11/10/15 6925khz 2205z
11/5/17 7261khz 1726z and 11/12/17 6925khz 2155z
