Very nice into GA tonight---2249UTC. Steady S9 and every now and then 10 over. Recalling the phone booth broadcasts and the white van pulling up behind the mobile studio.
FYI, down here, the last I knew the FCC boys were driving Tahoe's.....
Switched to FM mode at 2315, somewhat audible by slope detection method.

At 23:16 UTC switched to FM mode on 6.925. Signal solid from 6.920 to 6.930. Playing the introduction to the anniversary show. Sounding good on the old TS-440S. Very interesting to hear this in FM mode. SIO 444.
