Title: Rigol 100 MHz Digital Scope for $399
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on January 31, 2012, 1901 UTC
No affiliation other than as a happy Rigol user (I have the 50 MHz version, which cost me a little more than what the 100 MHz is available for now)

VTVMs aren't too bad, but anyone that keeps a tubed 'scope running deserves to be commended...

Or have the thing put out of its misery  :P

Thanks for the tip, Chris!  My venerable old B & K 30 MHz analog unit has been a great "bench buddy" for about 15 years now but I keep running into more and more situations where it just can't do what I need it to do.  I've been eyeing those sexy lunchbox-sized digital dudes for a long time now.  Well, I just jumped.  Hello Rigol, goodbye tax refund...
