It never happened, well not the original Nova, although there a Nova now in Dublin which several of the DJ's from the original station present shows on.
I worked briefly for the original station in 1983.
A lot of the equipment still exists.

Stations like Nova and Sunshine from Ireland as well as the MW Merseyside stations like Merseyland Alternative Radio and Radio Jackie North were my introduction to free radio in the early 80's. I may well have listened to you back in the day.
