Good point, Josh!    At 1400 utc today, none of the three separate broadcasts I'll tune in for music was on the air.  Hmmmm......wonder if they will ever return to shortwave?

I had the same reaction remembering how Ford Motor Company "suspended" their Edsel production "pending further market analysis".   How'd that work out?
