Hearing very weak audio and music with the CW still heard underneath

All signals I've heard tonight have been fairly strong in Urbana, IL. At least S9. Maybe I'm closer to some of them?

Have them here in the cornfields of Iowa. Not a real strong signal, but sounding good nonetheless. Using the Palstar R30CC.
