Listening via Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR. Fair signal with what sounds like storm noise ...
2343 UTC: Bram Stroker giving a top 10 list of "new clandestine stations to listen for."
2344 UTC: Radio Azteca ID, a bit of flamenco guitar music.
2345 UTC: Bram introducing an "editorial," which turns out to be a short sound clip.
2346 UTC: Radio Azteca ID, a bit more music, then Bram starts his roundup of true but ridiculous news.
Now listening via Milford, Pennsylvania, SDR. Signal's very good, though still some storm noise ...
2355 UTC: "Monty Python" theme music, then ID by Bram, a bit more music, and then "Radio Azteca Story Time." Bram tells a short story/joke involving an anthropologist and a tribe.
2358 UTC: ID again by Bram, a bit more music.
0000 UTC: "The station for everything that's gross but tasteful," then audio dropped out a moment and then started up again with the end of the story time joke again. Now repeating the last couple of minutes.
0002 UTC: Now back to the "The station for everything that's gross but tasteful" slogan, and the audio goes forward from there ... Bram having trouble tripping over words (might be a compilation of outtakes).
0005 UTC: Bram with ID: "This is Radio Azteca. More fun than a milking machine." Then some more music; sounds like the original version of "Volare."
0006 UTC: Winding up Program No. 38 with lots of sound clips, then "interval signal" from "Rocky & Bullwinkle Show."
0008 UTC: Surfer rock music into "Radio Azteca Music and ID Special No. 3," then gave Belfast, N.Y., address as he started the program.
0018 UTC: Still going with music and short Bram chat in between. The signal's slowly declining a bit via Milford, PA.
Thanks for the great programs!

Caught last few minutes of Program , #38 via web receiver. Station barely audible on home receiver in eastern Nebraska.
At 0008 went straight into another R. Azteca' Music and ID Special #3.
-
Been listening to a barely audible signal since about 0005. Finally came up enough to hear singing, then a radio drama, more music. None audible enough to tell the content.
S5 and noisy here.
-
0024. Signal is good,S5 with some storm static / humorous song about things the singer likes

I am compelled to comment regarding a part of my posting that I deleted this morning on finding that a fellow HFU member was sufficiently incensed to throw a bad karma my way. The comments were exact quotes from the show....it is what Bram Stoker does best, and I will neither confirm nor deny that they were "Gross but Tasteful", nor will I admit complicity in the enjoyment thereof. This is pirate radio and it ain't always pretty, prim, and proper. Don't kill the messenger... :)

Hi Skipper!
Tell it as you see it.
I would ignore those negative ones who don't realize all the positive things you're done to promote the hobby over the years. I see I have as much negative as I do positive. I'm not sure what Chris S. is hoping to accomplish with these ratings, but frankly I don't give a damn!
Carry on my friend!

Thanks for the kudos Chris! Good to see you back posting regularly and hope all is well out there on the east side of the great Taxachusetts! No worries on the karma stuff...it's just window dressing...I just didn't get the smite the messenger thing with some folks that post here. Don't step in any coronal holes and of course,
stay healthy! :)
