4096.130 KHz "L" Beacon! Weak but readable..Popped out of the noise then sank away.
Credit goes to mark-n-nut (Mark-In-North-Utah?) for this discovery yesterday. I hope the beacon stays on the air a long time.
Its there! It comes up out of the noise this morning but only for a few seconds. Have heard a W and dits is all so far. Prop is just terrible for me here. Has the band gone long... or short... I think long. Will have to go and wander threw some SDR's and see. While listening and watching for windy I have been seeing a signal on about 4096.1 sending the letter "L" have you heard it?

4096.133 KHz "L" Beacon! Fair signal with some fading
-
4096.150 KHz here at 06:00 Z 15MAY2020, quite strong. By 06:04 it was either QRT or faded completely out. On a 65 ft longwire oriented SE to NW and Airspy HF+. No sign of Windy.

L beacon coming through weak but Q5, at about the level of the S2 band noise, on the KFS SDR in Half Moon Bay, at 2240z.
It would be great if we could get some information on this beacon - power, approximate location, and any other details.

4096.120 KHz "L" Beacon, weak but readable here at home

I ran into this beacon, or I assume it is the same L beacon, on 4102.39 kHz today, just below Windy. Since I have not checked the beacons in several months I have no idea how long L has been on this freq.

L-Beacon heard here from 0525Z until 1450Z at almost constant signal strength (569) with very little fade.
Receiver: KiwiSDR
Ant: 80m dipole at 15m
location: DM12

Copying the L beacon here on 4102.42, noticed it while checking on Windy. Some fading but solid on the upswing. 04:20z 18OCT2020.

I have the L beacon here circa 1000-1030 UTC, mixing in with Windy, and slightly weaker.

L heard with a very weak signal, just below Windy, circa 1020 UTC 20 Oct 2020.

Also good to hear the L beacon is alive.
