Recorder catch:
Caught these two faint SSTV images - the first one looks familiar.

I checked my SDR recordings, and no trace of SSTV here during that time, FWIW.

I caught the sstv images also. Left-click on the images to make them bigger. Hopefully someone might have some ideas as to an ID.
Please ID and/or QSL. Thanks.

The symbol on that first image looks REALLY familiar to me. I just can't quite place it. And I can't quite make out the text, either.
Actually, I just did some processing of the first image and the text in the box appears to say "RAPE THE HARE".

thanks for the post, zackers. If I would've had to have guessed on the 1st image, I would've guessed that the last word was "Mars."

First image looks like the verizon "rule the air" logo. Have no idea on the second one...

Wolverine for sure has used the first one before, almost two years ago.

I think both Outhouse and maybe GA-GA have also used it, but can't find their images right now.

Yes, you're right. That's where the logo came from. But it's obviously been altered, Photoshopped. I'm pretty sure my translation is correct. The writing on the second SSTV image is clear enough to read. I guess only the sender knows for sure!
Actually, I just played with the processing AGAIN for about the fourth time. The first word is the one that's really hard to make out. The second and third words are definitely "THE HARE". Maybe the first word is "RULE" which would make it "RULE THE HARE". That would make more sense.

okay, you guys simply have way too much time on your hands! ha...ha...
This has been interesting. Thanks to all for your input.
The 2 additional images here were processed by me before up-loading using the mmsstv noise filter. The 1st one is using M5 and the 2nd picture is using the M9 filter.
