The SDRs are coming to get you, Fansome.

What this article fails to say is that these super-high speed ADCs were originally developed as radiation sources, and have found wide use in sterilizing fruit flies and other insect pests. They emit dangerous amounts of gamma and neutron radiation; many SDR users have reported health problems as a result, ranging from brain bubbles to psychotic behavior.

So you're my dear Cousin's nemesis? You seem like a nice fellow, why else would you warn Mr. Smolinski of the grave dangers of SDR's?
Do you think my Cousin could have one of the receivers featured in the link? It would explain his erratic behavior.
No wonder you're famous far and wide.

I AM a nice guy, as long as the subject isn't oily rags or greasy washwater. However, I'm afraid it may be too late for Smolinski; he's showing all of the classic signs and symptoms of SDR exposure: sporting an unnatural tan, stumbling around in bunny slippers and a soiled, ratty terrycloth robe, and mumbling nonsense to himself. Oh wait, maybe I've mixed him up with someone else...

You do know how to win friends and influence people,Al.
-
That sounds suspiciously like my Cousin.
You're a bit of cynic aren't you,Pigmeat? I find Mr. Fansome to be a scholar and gentleman of the old school. You on the other hand remind me of the Indians and Melungeons that live in the mountains above and around Roanoke, wild and surly.
You could learn much from Mr. Fansome's example.

Insults from a Tuckahoe. A people who've been practicing their own form of genetic research for 400 years.
A penguin aficionado and a cousin marrying coot forming an alliance. I guess it makes sense?
I can hear their rallying cry now,"Bird-brains of the world unite!" (Or "Byrd-brain" with T.G.)

Touche',Mr. Martin. I haven't heard the term "Tuckahoe" used in years. It gave me a good laugh.
You must be a true Son of The South.
