Title: Unid 15160 am 1621 utc 6 Feb 2021
Post by: Ct Yankee on February 06, 2021, 1625 UTC
Very good reception, Arabic?  A sprinkle of English words in the possible Arabic.  Can not find listing for this frequency now, doesn't seem to match Radio Saudi.

1621 OM with long talk says "United Arab Emirates" at one point
1622 Transition music to another OM, he says "American" in his talk
1625 One OM talking to another who may be on phone
1630 A little noisy now, music with YL singer
1633 A pair of OM's talking again, one mentions "Organization" and "January 8"
1638 "New York" and "37" English words spoken
1641 Now "Washington, DC" and "State Department" mentioned
1655 Middle Eastern Pop Music
1658 Off
slowtrain - VOA is scheduled to use this frequency only between 0400-0500 utc for Tibetan service.  This is odd 🤔.

Picked this one up as well earlier this morning. The station was coming in good as well (-88 dBm on the spectrum display) at 15:25z. The music segment at 15:26z had an India flare to it but the dialect was unknown, Arabic in flavour.

Chatter surrounding to these broadcasts appear to have started around February 2nd.

In spite of the lack of listing for any broadcast station on this time and frequency, I agree from the description that this sounds more like a SWBC station and not a pirate. Signing off right at 1658 fits in with that. I can't speculate as to who it could have been. Too bad I missed it.
