This is the Woodpecker which has been predominant in that area of the band over the past few days. I noted this on 08 May 2021 in the following post: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,81369.msg265067.html#msg265067 (https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,81369.msg265067.html#msg265067). If it is like the past few days, it will go off the air by 01:00 UTC. On 09 May 2021 the Woodpecker had ceased transmitting around 00:55 UTC.

Here it is today (10 May 2021) with the Sound of Hope carrier on 6970 kHz.

11 May 2021. There was no sign of the Woodpecker this evening.

A couple of things. That's most likely a ute that isn't intended to jam anyone. I'm not a utility signal expert so I won't speculate what it is, just that that frequency is often occupied by this particular wide one.

SOH transmits on very low power, reportedly just 1 kW, and every broadcast is jammed by a transmission of China National Radio 1 coming at much MUCH higher power - I'd guess 500 kW minimum, and possibly from more than one tx site at a time. Nobody is copying SOH or detecting their carrier. It's always CNR1. The presence of this ute is coincidental.

SOH on May 16. Checking just a few miscellaneous frequencies:

16299.75, SOH heard with very poor reception (no jamming) at 1007 UT; whereas before 1000, heard strong CNR1 jamming on 16300.0
(// 6125.0), as well as a slight het from off frequency SOH, which at times heard with extremely weak audio underneath; later check at
1110, found CNR1 again jamming here with a strong signal and again slight het.

At 1011 UT, SOH in the clear (no CNR1 jamming) on 6214.96v (often observed here on different days with slightly different frequencies!)
// 6230.0 // 6280.0 // 6370.1 // 6900.0 // 6970.08, with the news in Chinese. Obviously many of the SOH frequencies are slightly off
frequency, which helps to ID them, as the CNR1 jamming is on exact frequency.
