Post by: John Poet on September 30, 2012, 2043 UTC
TCS Shortwave Relay Network,
13,780 kHz USB, 9/30/2012,

2041 UTC with "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
Repeat of earlier txm on this frequency now.

Still S-0 in Lansing, but without the preamp this time..

Averaging about 10 over S9 here, peaks are up around 20 over and nulls are down to S9.  This is a slightly stronger than the 18040 TX, which was S8 to 10 over S9, right around S9 most of the time.  Particularly loved the "boys have a ... " bit of educational programming.  A great public service that.

T!

13780 USB SIO 131-232

Signal in the noise with audio just barely surfacing here & there - not as strong as the 18040 tx earlier.
