Electronic music, Gary Numan "Cars" (I think the extended remix), an older new wave song, Toto "Africa," etc. Good signal. Nice to hear so often in the morning

2148 Music playing, a little bit better than yesterday which was at noise level. Some decent peaks today.  :)
2151 "Electric Avenue". Been a long time since hearing this one, I forget the band.
2155 "Have you ever seen the rain".
2158 More CCR  :D, Still struggling to get above the noise but maybe the End-Fed is working a bit better.
2229 Checking back with CCR playing.

Thanks RG!

Well, it definitely sounds like it's doing a lot better. I switched from the original 1/4 wave ground plane, to a horrizontal End Fed Half Wave about 20 feet above the ground.

CCR at 2158z. Floating around S4. You are making the trip to Florida, and I can recover audio today.

Your low horizontal antenna is probably more NVIS, which should benefit daytime listeners within a few hundred miles versus your 1/4w vertical.  If possible, you might consider adding a reflector wire under your horizontal radiator to potentially enhance NVIS operation.

YMMV with a low horizontal wire at night, so you might need to experiment switching between the two antennas if trying for late night listeners.

Thanks for the broadcast! :)

Thanks for the info Rob. I will see how it does tonight on different Sdrs. Right now in the day time, it seems to cover the whole East coast.

23:22 UTC - This is one station that just doesn’t want to make it my way but tonight I can just barely hear some music buried way deep in the noise floor. Listening in USB mode;
23:27 UTC - Switch to the end-fed antenna to match Radio Genix's TX antenna. Slight improvement over the B&W. The B&W is a T2FD setup as an inverted-v, primarily pointing at Europe. Can also hear you on the Wellbrook loop;
23:29 UTC - Bette Davis Eyes
23:45 UTC - Pretty much lost the signal now. With the SSN at 86 I will need to wait for the grey line (+/- 01:00 UTC). Don't see the propagation improving until +/- 02:00 UTC;
23:49 UTC - Eye of the Tiger
00:15 UTC - Starting to improve, peaked S7 but with fading, I can now listen in AM mode;
00:22 UTC - Completely faded out again;
02:00 UTC - Still very weak and barely readable.

Radio Genix - 6875.0 kHz 23:32 UTC 22 JULY 2021 (as received on end-fed longwire)

SIGINT, interesting. Maybe tonight it will work better towards your area tonight. It does sound like it has improved though.
