I guess that dropouts at regular intervals or so
can come from digital equipments with slightly different sampling frequencies.
Suddenly, an eating process has nothing in the entry, and has to wait for the producing process.

Just my guess. Waiting replies, and I will move that in another forum.

Nothing as complicated as that  :D :D :D

Simply equipment being run too hard.

This was a test to see what reception in Australia is like. Could be heard on at least 3 tuners.  :) :) :)
