Pretty good copy, noticed them on the SDR recording. They sound southern?

Gotta say that EE pescs have been rare here until last week.  About 4 or 5 nights last week they showed up in overnight recordings, usually around 0400-0600 and also 0900-1100 UTC.   Talk centers around their rigs, and hoping they'll get a good drag tomorrow.  Lotta ways to read into that, I'll assume they're talking about fishing...

Heard again 0531-0543z on 7 November. Sounded like the same guys.

Same here, around 0530 - 0543, and again around 1150.  One of the guys usually has a strong signal here, with a distinctive voice, and I have been logging him as the "Oke Doke" guy, as he says that a lot.  QSO seemed to imply that 6925 was an alternate freq for their comms.

With the storms,I wonder if regional emergency comms haven't pushed them off their regular frequencies?

Just heard them again at 1818z this afternoon. I think this is the first time I have heard them around this time. Fairly weak signal.

Recorder Catch on 6925USB

These guys - the ones I have been hearing lately - were booming in last night around 0413 as Chris noted.  I was able to hear both sides of the QSO for a change.

At 0103z the EE fishermen heard here often were trying to engage in QSO, but it wasn't working.  One of them suggested moving to 4125, where they were both heard with good signals a couple of minutes later.  I think that 4125 would make a swell primary frequency for these guys unless, of course, they happen to like the programming on 6925.

I wonder if they listen to the pirates?
