Title: 6M activity
Post by: Elf36 on November 06, 2021, 1219 UTC
Finally worked a station on 6M, although it was only about 110 miles away. (50.145) The signal was low but readable. Heard some other stations as well. Maybe I can get around to building a little Moxon beam sometime soon.

I've used mostly Moxon's on 6m and they have always done well. Except one where I mixed up the lengths for the driven and reflector element, LOL. My most recent one was made using a cut up aluminum folding chair for the corners, some surplus antenna tubing and rivets. I think I used wood dowels to separate the elements.
