Just caught Radio Exterior Espaņa's for the first time. Quite pleasant, really. (Could just be sinus meds.)

Hey ETM,
To me nothing ever beat the Radio Japan interval (actually transmitted from Japan) sliding down from the North pole.
When I was a kid R. Japan was some of the longest and most exotic Dx I could get .
Even now on Youtube play back, it still gives me a bit of nostalgic chills.

I'm Canadian Eh --- so, RCI. All kidding aside, below is an excellent reference for interval signals.
The classic Radio Romania International interval signal is still very distinctive and continues to be heard.

Probably my favorites:
The bellbird of RNZ: https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/birds-on-morning-report/audio/2584672/radio-new-zealand-international's-bellbird
The former Swiss Radio International musicbox sounding IS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-8hINt4Mi4
The former ROI Austria waltz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WBaSF_5Cug
BBC Bow Bells still used:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV3nu8_578c

One of my top favorites is from Radio Australia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D-sY2BQd0U

Mine was always Radio RSA's interval signal with the mellow acoustic guitar and bokmakerie bird. Always sounded cool, especially during the late afternoons when I was usually hearing the station's signal.
Radio Australia's kookaburra and piccolo rich theme music at the top of each hour was always cool to hear, as I tuned them in nightly for several years.

Hearing what I'm pretty sure was Pandemic Radio (thanks Chuck54!) last night (6 Jan 2022) reminded me how cool and sorta haunting the Lincolnshire Poacher's interval signal was/is.
I've never caught the real LP (does it still exist?) but that's got to be one of the creepy-coolest.

The info is readily available online these days, but the voice announcements on WWV(/H) like the geophysical alerts and space weather forecasts are neat to hear IMO.

Hey Erik,
I heard the Poacher back in the stone age. The calliope music kind of reminded me of a circus that would have evil clowns .
Headphones off , head under pillow :) .
