Unknown station possibly playing The Eagles and other rock. NB doesn't quite cover the buzzing noise. Good signal. Thanks a lot for the show.

Could this have been a licensed station? There are several on 1700 AM.

My guess is it maybe WRCR in Rochester NY area.  It sounds like their format, classic rock tunes.  They come in well for me at night.  I use the station to check performance of experimental antennas.  I hope this is a help.

The usual station heard here is WRCR-New York....the format is adult contemporary with a nighttime power of 1 kw. I was just listening to them playing "Crazy Love" by Poco.
