Yes, you read that right - someone with music in FM on 1730-1731 kHz @ 0329 UTC. S9 on peaks but still a difficult copy here with music and talk. Unsure if this is some kind of harmonic or a pirate at this point.
0333 UTC: Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville
0345 UTC: Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer
0353 UTC: Talk and announcements but I can't get a clear copy to understand any of it. Maybe this is a relay of a commercial station?
0354 UTC: John Mellencamp - Ain't That America
0401 UTC: More talk, but not intelligible here
0405 UTC: Sounds like top of the hour network news that I would typically hear on a commercial broadcast station.
0406 UTC: Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
0418 UTC: ZZ Top - La Grange
Mystery solved (to some extent). Music and talk matches the webstream for AM 1600 (& FM 94.1) WKYI: https://www.my941fm.com/
Unsure if this a relay or some kind of oddball harmonic or mixing product at the transmitter. It's being heard by DXers in Ontario and South Carolina and is not local to my receiver.

Also at Burnt River ON, and reports suggest even Carolinas...
1733-34 seems best here in PURE AM MODE. Everything from Bon Jovi to Bryan Adams to Patsy Cline. Possible 94-1 or 104-1 ID. Also Fox News. Very bad modulation on AM, and teletype-like gibberish on USB/LSB. Could be someone spinning to multiple FM stations. - saul

I think it's still there at local sunrise. I can't access the 94.1/1600 WKYI stream in Canada, but I'd imagine it's the same station ... Saul @ Burnt River ON

This is a transmitter spur. I have been fooled by it also, check some previous logs here :)

I was wondering about the possibility when I noted it this morning. Am curious why I just get squeaky-like noises is the U/L sidebands? And why 1733'ish? I've already logged the actual 1600 in Eminence KY, but not recently and it's actual DX as opposed to even a moderately semi-regular here north of Toronto. Now that I recognize those squeaky-like sounds on the sidebands around 1733, I can safely say I've noticed it for awhile - just never bothered to check AM or even this site. Figured it was just QRM.
