I've been listening to/for R. Pushka for months now & tonight's by far the best it's come in here. Signal isn't too bad & it isn't fading out much. I've heard a few synth new wavish songs so far. Hopefully, conditions stay pretty good
Oh, almost forgot to mention that I haven't heard an ID yet, so I'm assuming it's Pushka

Thank you very much!
Yeah that's good. The 1/4 vertical has really helped over loaded antennas and antennas with top hats.
time to build a linear amplifier though. 15 watts is doing good.
I also need to guy it down because the antenna is very flimsy.
would you like an eqsl?

Thanks much! I'd love an eQSL. BTW, did you receive the reception report & MP3 that I sent on 1/28? Maybe I sent it to the wrong e-mail address?

In terms of transmitting efficiency: a full 1/4 vertical is incrementally better than a shortened vertical with a top hat (capacitive hat) and in turn both of those two are incrementally better than a shortened coil-loaded vertical.
Put another way: 1/4 wave > top-hat vertical > coil-loaded vertical, all other things being equal, like the ground system, etc.

I am not sure I have seen that email. my email address is 87.7fmradiopushka@gmail.com
Charlie, I think you need an eqsl card too.
I will make the cards soon when I have time off from college homework.
Thank you!

Rather than start a new thread, will post here that I can get Radio Pushka generally most evenings but with low audio so that I usually can't make it out. I have a lot of high noise which is hard to blank out so that doesn't help. But it was on the evening of Friday the 11th (early Saturday the 12th in UTC time). One of these days it will come in better, I just know it. ;)
