Indeed!  There's a youtube channel that continually monitors UVB-76, and you can sometimes catch the 'weirdos' in action :)

Even on the days when i can pick up the buzzer at my location i haven't been able to catch any of the related fun :(

For what it is worth, I have not heard any tactical-sounding voice (SSB) comms in several days. Perhaps I am listening in the wrong places at the wrong times so I'm putting this out to ask if I am the only person.

I have heard the usual ham radio "battle" on 7050/7055 LSB and of course people playing music over The Buzzer on 4625 KHz. That's not what I am referring to.

Completely uninformed speculation on my part (so take it with a certain amount of skepticism): 1) the widespread publication of the frequencies the Russians were using along with 2) the jamming of those frequencies combined with 3) the on the ground status of their military campaign (the location of their forces, that they are laying siege to certain cities, etc.) has led them to largely or completely quit HF SSB. They may very well be using encrypted data and CW a lot more now; I have no idea. Also, in some cases, perhaps shifting to VHF/UHF (and local repeaters they have brought in?) and/or satellite comms makes more sense?

If they are coordinating the shelling of a city, VHF/UHF might be more appropriate.
If they have hundreds of trucks bottled up in a single 60 Km-long convoy north of Kiev (which, by the way, is simply ludicrous from the standpoint of good military logistics procedures), do they need to run a net in HF SSB to coordinate that convoy? Maybe or maybe not.

I don't know if this has been discussed elsewhere. If so, please send some links.
