- - You're right KaySeeks, the pronunciation of Auto made me think that the announcer is
speaking from Germany, not Czech. Maybe this is the German pronunciation of Bohemia
(Böhmen) where the letter "ö = oa" and "h" is mute.

Agreed. Very much a German-speaker's pronunciation of "Auto" (Ow-toh), not a French-speaker's pronunciation of "Hotel" (au-tell).

I just listened to your recordings and found out that the pronunciation "HOTEL" in Czech language accent is something like "outell" so the letter "H" always will be swallowed.
