I just noticed you post from April &  was wondering whether you've heard this station since.

I live in Riverside and the last FM pirate of any reasonable coverage that I can remember around these parts was an all-metal station on 87.9 back in 1999-2000 called "KAOS Radio" or something like that.

6950KHz 0148UTC 010222
Riverside, CA USA

Tuned into extremely weak signal @0148.  Things took a turn several minutes later though as signal strength an legibility improved a bit over just a few minutes.  It's still a difficult copy, but at least I can discern music (though I still can't identify it).  I'll stick with it for a while and keep my fingers crossed.

Update... SSTV at 0157UTC.

Update... 100% legible ID @0159UTC

Occasional announcements were muddy and largely illegible.
Tuned back around 0215UTC.  Still there, but way down in the noise.

Tuned in @3:36UTC 05JUL2021 6.950.00MHz to music by the Allman Bros.
SINPO was around 33323 with some fading.  Lots of static here in SoCal so copy was difficult at times (OM announcer's dialog was largely unintelligible for this reason).
