Haven't checked for them lately, so I tuned in today, 21 May 2019 at 1635 UTC. I cannot recognize the song, but sounds like 50s Rat Pack / Crooner music. The usual SIO 222 signal.

SDR recording catch

0448 Signed on with some music, too weak for Shazam
0453 OM speaking... something about broadcasting live? Possible ID
0457 "Slipping Into Darkness"
0458 ID "<something> Radio, broadcasting live"
0502 "Norman"
0507 "People's Funny Boy"
0511 "Nature Dub"
0512 "Screw Faces"
0521 "Keep On Skanking"
0529 Very weak now
0540 Tones heard on and off through 0540, then gone?
0544 Nope, very faint music, then gone shortly later

I never managed to pull out an ID. Any chance the op wants to claim this? I gladly accept eQSLs  ;D

It's winter down there, so I would expect the band to behave very similar to the upper end of the MW band. Here, I easily get daytime DX on that band of a similar range from TIS stations running 10 watts in AM mode. Reception of a several watt CW beacon seems quite plausible.

2254 Very weak carrier
2356 Started to hear some music, still quite weak. It did sound like the kind of music Nuttin' On Shortwave might play.
0002 Faded back out (mostly)
0041 Carrier off

Perhaps a miskeying fish net beacon?

WEUP out out of Huntsville Alabama is a possibility - they ride 10 KW days  and its only 607 miles to your QTH.   Just a guess.

I believe WEUP is on 1700 ?
