Chris,

it increased and a DJ seemed to announce "Powerliner International", so it's defeneatly Euro.

By the way, if you have an SDR recording, can you check, at 23.19 UTC (and even earlier), 6925U. I had no announcements, but non stop oldies, like "Comfortably Numb" from Pink Floyd. That one seemed less Euro (and, in L, you had the usual brazilian net).

As I write, 0.21z, 3rd Aug, solid carrier on 6951, but no audio.

Thanks,
Magic73

Guys,

posting this here, as frequency and mode look more Shortwavepirate, than Europirate, but I can't tell much.

Rock music heard on 6935 LSB, at 23.48z, 2nd Aug 2014. I'm in northern Italy, and I've just something getting out the noisefloor from time to time.

Maybe someone can help.

Thanks in advance!

Hi folks,

northern Italy here. Glad to announce the Doc made it through the Pond.

Here's the audio I recorded for some 10 mins, starting at 1.07z of 3rd may 2014:

https://app.box.com/s/0cosudt3ybf7lo9anhuk

At 3'35" in the recording: "Undercover Radio" id.
At 7'13" in the recording: T-shirt mention.
Between these two, I also got a part in which Dr. talked about qualities of USB.
At 10'00 started to fade and stopped recording.

I'm really on cloud nine. Despite being four minutes to 4am, it's my 1st shortwave pirate [supposed] from the other Atlantic side ever!

If someone could help me about contacting the Doc, I'd be more than glad to report him my reception.

Ciao everyone,
Chris

10/11 meters / West Coast booming in Europe - 20th Oct 2013

I confirm also on this side of the Pond very good conditions on 10/11 meters today.

At 16.18 UTC, W7WA (Dan in Tacoma) with local signal in Italy on 28462,1. Hear for yourself:

Second time I hear west coast ever. Absolute first in phone (previous reception was California, in RTTY, in 15 mt.).

Hi,

in north-western Italy, I had some weak signals on 6933 LSB at:

- 1.40z (19th Oct 2013): https://app.box.com/s/be9p00btmktvev7y5ezb
- 1.56z (19th Oct 2013): https://app.box.com/s/maaevjjk916x3ug6jclw
- 1.59z (19th Oct 2013): https://app.box.com/s/k9t0xw56reovexac6mm2

As I wrote on the 6925 LSB thread, it was my first night chasing NA Pirates, and if I did really crossed the pond, I'd be at cloud nine.

Looking forward to your take on those recordings.

Ciao,
Chris

Hello everyone,

as my first post in the Forum, I'd like to share with you recordings of what I had, in north-western Italy (R-71 and a K9AY loop) on 6925 LSB:

- at 1.29z (19th Oct 2013): https://app.box.com/s/nxozsevl9nzddidp0qpq
- at 1.48z (19th Oct 2013): https://app.box.com/s/ak2noy1ti0vegb4d7fhm

I have to say that, as you'll notice, signal wasn quite weak, but I'm sure it was LSB. What sounds "suspicious" to me is the absence of music in the format I received.

If it was the reception of my first North American pirate ever, I've to say to be a bit frustrated because it remained unid, and I would have loved to submit a report to the station!

Anyways, I look forward to your advice on what I heard. Others files, on the 6933 LSB thread.

Ciao,
Chris
