I was wondering where to report my logging this morning right in the 80m ham band.

I think I found it!  CW maybe 20wpm.

V 3JWV 3JWV 3JWV DE QH4P QH4P

3597.02 khz   1615z   8:15am local time here in California.. Can only hear this one during my +/- dawn hours. Far east?

signal strength just above my S2 noise level.  Similar to Looking-Glass: 219-319 report at best

Apparently causing quite a stir on the ARC-5 reflector according to a friend.  Speculation that it is Chinese military.

Heard it finally.  Been trying for weeks.  Maybe the smoke up here helped!

Very weak here into Shasta County CA, 500-600 mi north of the Mohave, fading into nothing for 4 or 5 minutes, then coming back.

Using a KX3/PX3 combo and a Pixel Loop, also hearing it on a 2 el 40m yagi

TMP 86

lots of dits between the W's, looks like a windy warm night.

I last copied this beacon in Feb 2015 on a camping trip to Death Valley, so weak almost imperceptible at the time. It's been many years since I last heard this at my home QTH.
