HF Mystery Signals / New digi mode on 4207cf ?
« on: November 06, 2020, 1207 UTC »
Any ideas?

I'll try to get a wide bandwidth recording but not having much luck as yet.  I think it's transmitting at top/bottom of hour.  This was captured @ 1200z on 11-6-2020:

General Radio Discussion / Room Monitors
« on: March 09, 2020, 2151 UTC »
Does anyone know of a room monitoring device that operates @ 254 Mhz?  I found one in my neighborhood.  I haven't listened too long but I was able to drive around and I.D. the general street that the signal is coming from.  It's < 1.5 miles LOS from my discone.

A friend and I were thinking of some Chicom ripoff using the odd UHF frequency.  I searched Amazon but most seem to be using either WiFi or 2.4 Ghz RF -- and if they are using RF, most generally don't mention the frequency range.

ID and Translation Requests / UFO SATCOM
« on: February 27, 2020, 1251 UTC »
Finally I find some success monitoring UHF SATCOM.  Still trying to figure out why but for whatever reason, a lot of UHF SATCOM transponders showed up plain as day on my SDR early this AM.  From 243.5 - 270 Mhz it was chock full of transponders.  I even had some voice traffic.

Can someone please ID the language from these two recordings? Translation would be wonderful too, if possible.

Peskies / 5762khz USB Screamin Korean OM 15-Feb 0355z
« on: February 15, 2020, 0356 UTC »
Pretty sure the language is Korean.  Have several OMs on a ragchew and one them was talking very loudly into the microphone.  I thought this was a BCB station at first but it's definitely not.

Anyone speak Korean?

Odd tick marks every 2 seconds on 6900khz AM.  Not sure if this is new or not but I don't recall seeing it.
