Idk if this is appropriate here, but now anyone can choose what plays on my station:

There are bugs so there will be some dead air, but I am working on identifying them and fixing them, if anyone wants to see the source code feel free to email me.
I am still broadcasting 24/7 but conditions are variable, also there is downtime for repairs.

Broadcast Announcements / Radio Pushka now on lower power on 6920
« on: February 23, 2022, 0315 UTC »
Well my Ameritron Amplifier refuses to tune properly and today I came home from swim practice to see my last 572b tube gone. Well I just hate these stupid amplifiers what a waste of the little money I have! So now I will be running lower power until a new PA kit from China comes. Not sure how much power I was running but it won't drop too significantly.

Equipment / Mixing tubes in Ameritron
« on: February 17, 2022, 0521 UTC »
Is it ok to mix a 572b tube and a G811 tube in the same amplifier? or bad idea, and I need to save up for 572b?
Thank you!

Equipment / Ameritron Al811 help
« on: December 28, 2021, 0750 UTC »
Hello!
I am Radio Pushka  ;D
Well, currently got 6920 khz back up with a 15 watt transmitter. I rebuilt my antenna to be more powerful and now it has an swr of 1.0 on 6920 and 15 watts carrier gets out quite well. When I plug in my Ameritron, It tunes perfectly and I get a solid 200 watt carrier which i have enough drive for. But as soon as I put in audio it sounds all distorted as if something is not tuned correctly. Also, when i set my load control to 0 the power dips a little and the distortion gets worse, when i set the load to 10 which is max, the audio sounds less distorted and i get more output. Its like there is not enough load capacitance or something. Anyone know what could be the issue and how to resolve?

Thank you!

I am currently building a 30 watt PEP transmitter for 16MHz. The frequency will be 16.000 MHz or around there depending on the drift of the xtal. Unfortunately thats the only xtal I currently posses for that band. Antenna will be a vertical three element collinear, 12.5 meters tall or so, I will have to adjust it once I build it. My hope is to cover Russia and SE Asia with this setup, may get and stack some cheap Chinese amplifiers to facilitate my goal. If things go well I may move to this band and get a proper xtal for 19 meter broadcast band. But must likely i will have both transmitters running simultaneously.
Thank you for logging my station! much appreciation to those who helped me!
I may not make an qsl cards though because my computer is broken and I am very busy.

Broadcast Announcements / Radio Pushka now on Shortwave 24/7
« on: April 23, 2020, 0305 UTC »
Just recently, I rebuilt my 11 meter dipole to be horizontally polarized, this made it possible for me to broadcast on 26.05 mhz AM mode. Best conditions are from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM MST and 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM MST. Me and Big Badfish did a test for where reception is possible. Best heard in North Utah, then North California and North Utah, and DX in Ottawa, Canada. I play techno style music, If anyone is interested, you can tune in. I also have a 700 watt amplifier that I need to tune up for operation, so expect more SDRs getting reception soon.
