Again with the strange music and sounds in the ham band. S5 today. Same as earlier. Out at 1443. Completely gone.
Can hear faint talking underneath. Turning the hex beam toward Europe , it's a Russian ham calling cq.

Creepy music and animal sounds. Repeating. Can anyone ID this? Strange place for a jammer or pirate station.
Pretty loud. Peaking S8.
Out at 0147utc.

Something going on, strong am signal of some Spanish(?) language broadcast. Never heard it up here before.
Beams pointed west, strong fades otherwise ok.

Good signal, s9 + 20. SINPO 55444, moderate fading at times.
Radio Cairo, couldn't find it on any schedules. Listened for ID.
Interesting English language program. News and music.
Female announcer a lot less formal than other state broadcasts. Seems very relaxed and matter of fact, giving her opinion on eqypt state of affairs. Very interesting. Then abruptly jammed at 0327 UTC?

Little fading, strong English broadcast.
Best I have heard in a while.
Very anti imperialists propaganda. Nuclear talks.
Like the good old days of the soviet block broadcasts.
