I just tuned in at 0659UTC.
music mix with commentary buried in the noise, mostly unintelligible.
occasionally getting blasted by OTHR
0709 : Phone call recordings? Prank calls?
0716 : Male talking to female on the phone. Still mostly unintelligible.
0718 : signal disappeared followed by "Oh damn/man don't stop now."
no ID heard

HF Beacons / 26.600Mhz beacon off indefinitely

I haven't been able to hear it since about two weeks ago. I recently went out on a rainy afternoon hike and found that it had been completely destroyed by lightning. The damage is spectacular. One end of the dipole has visible arc damage and most of the components were vaporized. The SCH40 PVC housing was split open, and a corner of the solar panel was fried.
I was soaked and amused.
Anyway, it was fun while it lasted.
Back to the protoboard.

It has been on day and night since Easter Sunday. Approximately 2, 13 second, dashes per minute.
There is a bit of chirp at the beginning of each dash.

Strong winds knocked it down over the weekend. It should return and be on 24/7 sometime soon.
