FM DX Loggings / FM DX from Colorado into Wisconsin

l95.7 6/3 KDHT CO Denver 2214-19 "Hits 95.7," station promo, ads for Huntington Bank, Jurassic World Exhibition, Sasquatch Casino (Black Hawk), Xfinity. Excellent signal but just slightly distorted.

Very faint, but sounded like a male anncr, no music, seemed to come in better on USB than AM.

FM DX Loggings / FM from OK and TX into Wisconsin

Apparently tropos cx before dinner today. Between about 2150 and 2230 UTC, logged 4 stations from Oklahoma and Texas -- KWFX 100.1 (Woodward, OK), KVSP ("Power 103") 103.5 Anadarko, OK, KOOL
FM 100.7 Abilene, TX and KATP "The Bull" 101.9 Amarillo, TX. The Abilene station showed up first with an ad for a local car dealership. Glad I was in a parking lot and not on the road! A shock! But a pleasant shock.  Car is Honda CRV.

0147-0153  3 short pips and a longer one, and occasionally 2 pips and then a longer one -- static
made it a little tough to tell the variations.

Still on when I checked briefly @ 0206

SDR - Software Defined Radio / SDRplay setup

I just purchased SDRPlay. Unfortunately, I'm not a techie at all and I think I'm in over my head.

I bought a "quick and dirty" antenna kit https://www.amazon.com/Usmile%C2%AE-Portable-shortwave-antenna-stations/dp/B0141X3B5W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474328930&sr=8-2&keywords=shortwave+radio+antenna
Unfortunately, the directions really don't tell how to hook this up. Separately I bought the right coax which is hooked between
my PC and the SDRPlay. But I don't understand how the longwire is supposed to connect to the SDRP. Any help appreciated!
