Playing the music of Groupo Jaranero according to Shazam , "El Burro" "Ac Balam" and "la Alegria" doing well 333.
Was enjoying until just before 4z when a dj said "adios para Mexico" and then a very loud signal cut in Japanese(?) and I caught the letters NHK  . This transmission was brief and I believe * it started on 6180 , I noticed the spatter all of a sudden . Then (loud!) the same statement on 6185 where I heard the call letters. The TX disconnected promptly after the announcement - 10 seconds total maybe.  After that I had no signal from XE , I believe they signed off  at 4z.
The NHK was a huge sig, maybe from Cypress Creek?

*Not 100% sure I could be losing it

Tuned in around 230z ,Steady S9 +20 hitting 40 at times presumably from Greenville
Playing Elton John Discography , Bennie and the Jets, Rocketman, etc. The  DJ indicating the EJ was being directed to Havana ,a "special" I think he may have said and putting some Bennie down there.
Returned to Politics and orations at 3z

Noted last night at about 0300z  , playing The Box Tops / soul deep ,and other 60s 70s  80s with numerous ids

Very good copy , not sure if just testing or they plan to occupy this freq.

1640 WTNI Biloxi Mississippi 1k night.  Early morning catch on the Toyota demodulator. Very little actual content was noted except there was brief sports talk and then " on ESPN Radio".  That's all I needed because there are very few sports stations on 1640. 
 This station is apparent on other nights I've checked , although never quite good enough for a definite id.  865 mi.

WPTX  Lexington Park MD 1k night with a strong signal/nice audio here and strangely qrn free with an Adult Standards feed, right now  John Denver/ country roads before that Carpenters/ superstar . ID after just about every song. Not a real dx catch b/c heard here just about every night, but it seems the extended band has been very listenable lately .

Huh? / Our new washing machine

Broadcast level RF covering 1 kHz -30 MHz . You can hear it out in the yard going swish -swish less than every 2 seconds on a portable . It doesn't have an agitator and whatever computer that controls the swishing must fall under part 15.  In my role as patriarch I have banned  any washing during pirate hours, but we'll see how that goes.
I will add it to the list of Aquarium heaters , lamps with dimmers, occasional problems with power line arc ( salt air) and intermittent sodium vapor lamps- which I have developed special weapons and tactics assault using a  Crossman M1 replica air rifle if there's slow responses by the city ( 1 day). I must warn however, this is becoming risky with all the security cams though if you develop your own tactical. Each must weigh his needs against consequences.
 NSA add it to my dossier , he's a street lamp extremist but note he can iterate justification. {End wrant}
