Mexican fishermen talking about various fishing topics, life and throwing in some foul language. Good signal into the wes coast. They mentioned Ensenada port.
Is 10.542 a maritime hf channel or are these pirates.

26.585. These are the usual folks parked on this frequency with marimba music and other Spanish tunes when they open their mics. These guys are down there in Veracruz Mexico mobile taxi units. The base comes in loud and strong to the west coast. at 17:35 UTC

Lots of Mexican stations checking in. Some with roger beeps. Heard Guadalajara, Ensenada, San Diego, Durango. Seems to be some kind of group gathering at 1800 UTC

Hearing what sounds like a high pitch tunning noise followed by a voice. Sounds like someone is running a radio in AM. very weak so most likely dx skip coming into the west coast

Listening to 1630 kHz. This is from UABC Radio just south of the border with San Diego. I'm located in Los Angeles so its about 125 miles. This is a university radio station. Call sign XEUT
