Hearing many calls to 41 and 43 division from North and South America this afternoon. I could hear one 41 division calling back. Must be a nice opening from the number of calls I'm hearing.

Sitting on 8992 over coffee and Twitter when all of a sudden it sounded like someone tuning up their OTHR.

Has happened three times since(always while I was away from the SDR of course)

AnyWUN heard this before? I'll try and get a recording.

looking for a little elmering here. Can my settings be any better? I had a decent signal and was on tune and about thhe only thing I can make out is a baby figure and what appears to be Japanese text. Any help from old hands appreciated.

UNID great sound and signal but CONDX were weird.

S7 - S9 deep fades to no copy.

1:27 Spoken word about god's creatures. Sounds like a theramine or snake flute
1:29 deep fade.
1:30 I think he turned his amplifier on and then blew a fuse or condx were really messed up. Signal popped up like a rocket for a few seconds and then died.
1:31 my cat demanded attention and well she is important. Thanks for the sounds!

Some kind of really wide signal sounds like SuperDARN (Super Dual Auroral Radar Network) Seems like two or more stations as one overtakes the other at times.
Closest I can find on the SIGIDENTWIKI is SuperDARN
Have a listen and a look if you would and confirm.

I often see stuff on the boards like "Detected KG-84C SYNC with 100% confidence" or folks clearly labeling different types and modes of digital signals and I often wonder what folks are using to measure and identify these signals.
